How do I create a Document?
When creating a document in Propdocs you have the option to upload a file, create from an existing template, import a Word file, or create from a blank document.
The first step in the document creation process is to navigate to the Deal Overview page.
- Click “New Document”
- Select from the options provided
Select the appropriate template to start drafting your document and give your document a name. Your document will be filled with the content from the pre-created template. For more information on creating templates for you to use see our template management guide.
Import from Word
Give your document a name and select a MS Word file from your local computer to import. Your document will import as it was seen in MS Word and be fully editable inside of Propdocs.
Give your document a name and select a PDF document from your local computer to Upload. If your file has PDF form fields you will be able to fill those fields once the document has been uploaded.
Give your document a name and click “Create Document”. You have a blank canvas to start drafting your document but can also import a document from word using the import from word feature once you have created the document.
